		<description><![CDATA[Today we went to Oshijo Castle in Gyoda, called &#8220;a castle in the water&#8221; due to being surrounded by the river and marshes. It was built around the year 1700. There is also a museum on the grounds that displays many items that are related to the castle.]]></description>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today we went to Zojoji Temple, which is very close to Tokyo Tower.  The temple is adorned with statues, flowers, and trees. They also have a couple of interesting trees in the courtyard.  One cedar tree has a sign that it was planted by President Ulysses S Grant in 1879.  Another tree has as sign that reads: &#8220;This tree was planted by the forty first president GEORGE H*W* BUSH of the United States in memory of his visit to Zojoji temple in 1982 when he was vice president.&#8221;</p>
